On Friday, October 8th, Armstrong Steel, a manufacturer of steel buildings announced it selected Pueblo, Colorado for the site of its new factory. The factory at full capacity will employ 51 workers and generate an estimated $2.6 Million dollars in annual payroll. The new factory will be located at the Minnequa Industrial Park in the City of Pueblo.

Details of the project include:
- 51 guaranteed new full-time jobs with an Average Annual Salary: $52,400. (Pre-Benefit)
- $1,224,000 from the City of Pueblo’s half cent fund for economic development (contingent on approval from the Pueblo City Council)
- $5.7 Million investment
